Imposter syndrome can be described as doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud.

It disproportionately affects women more than men and high-achieving people, who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments.

For some it comes along once in their life time, or it may raise its head a few times in different situations.

But for many it can be something that stays with them their whole life and they wear a “mask” and hide their feelings, emotions, thoughts around their own self-worth, they may question whether they’re deserving of success or accolades and may feel like a fake.

In today’s episode I give you some hints and tips on how to slowly, take some steps to push aside those feelings, to be able to recognise and acknowledge your strengths, your greatness and to let your light shine.

Today we discuss the CALL Technique© – 4 steps to letting go of past emotional experiences

Has there been a time when you’ve reacted to something and later on, with hindsight, wished you’d handled it differently? Maybe when you got angry with your partner, yelled at the kids, or even rolled your eyes in a meeting?

We’ve all been there and in that moment, something takes over and we have an urge or a rush of emotion and that’s what makes us react in the way we do.

This techniques helps you understand why you’re reacting that way and steps you through how to develop a “response” that serves you better. This 4 step process helps you respond differently next time something like this happens and when you use it, you will notice how with each step, how it helps you see things differently.

Today we are joined by Hayley Bath, a Self-Empowerment Practitioner and Mindset & Transformation Coach – but Hayley’s life hasn’t always been this way.

She opens up and shares her journey with us about how she spent many years in different types of conventional therapies and, although these can be amazing for some people, they didn’t have much of an effect on her.

Hayley talks about how this led her to find other ways to heal, more of a holistic approach, which completely opened her eyes to see that there is not just one way to heal, and if you have an open mind, you may just find this magic has been within you too all along. It’s just waiting to be tapped into!
Hayley has had her fair share of ups and downs and some could say she is like a Phoenix Rising from the ashes.

In her life, she has experienced trauma, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, low self-worth, addictions, panic attacks, bad habits, self-harm, anger issues, self-sabotaging behaviours and feeling completely lost and disconnected from herself.

She spent many years of her life numbing the pain of anxiety and depression with pills, substances and withdrawing from life and was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, ADD, anxiety and depression, to name a few.

Join us today to hear Hayley’s story.

Self-care is such an important part of daily life, however during times of busy-ness, uncertainty and stress the need for self-care is even more important, and I’d go as far as to say imperative. Self-care is often the first thing that gets sacrificed when life is busy and stressful, and people often think that taking time for themselves seems indulgent.

But looking after your own wellbeing will help you build resilience, confidence and help get through this challenging times, and will give you the energy to allow you to care for others too.

Confidence – I believe confidence, or lack of, is the foundation of how we live our life and how we go about what we do.
We talk about how others exude confidence and how we all have doubts.
Confidence is something you can grow in, it’s something you may have had when you were younger and it’s diminished or you’ve lost it – but you can get it back, you can rekindle and re-ignite your confidence.

My mission is to inspire everyone to have confidence, to reconnect with themselves, to rekindle, ignite and find their confidence.
